Jersey City, NJ – September 3, 2018 – The Jersey City Arts Council announces the launch of 14C Art Fair – a new and uniquely Jersey art fair – which will be held on March 15-17, 2019 on two floors of the Hyatt Regency Hotel on the Jersey City waterfront.
14C Art Fair was created with a mission: to strengthen the art galleries of New Jersey, as well as showcase the best visual artists in the state.
More than 50 art galleries will participate in March 2019.
Exhibiting galleries do not have to be from New Jersey.
To address the problem of art fair costs, which can be ruinous for small and medium sized galleries, applicants just pay a small fee of $35 to apply, and accepted galleries need only pay for their hotel room ($249/night for 4 nights). The application is available at artfair14c.com, and deadline for galleries to apply is February 18, 2018.
A Juried Show of individual artists will fill the penthouse ballroom of the Hyatt, with sweeping views of Manhattan and New York Harbor. Any visual artist who lives or works in New Jersey is eligible to apply for the Juried Show. The application is available at artfair14c.com, and deadline for artists to apply is February 18, 2018.
The 14C Art Fair at the Hyatt Regency sits atop a transportation hub and is easily accessible from the NYC region and the entire northeast, with PATH, Lightrail and Hudson ferries just steps away, and ample parking available.
